The once in a generation opportunity
A once in a generation opportunity
The social and environmental imperative to stop "business as usual" and to seek out different approaches is clear. This is our burning platform. Fortunately there are strong reasons for optimism.
Three massive forces are combining:
millions of baby boomer business owners are exiting their businesses and retiring over the next decade,
the next generation of business owners (Millennials and Gen Z) have a clear understanding of the need for business to take greater account of social inclusion and environmental stewardship in their operations along with fresh knowledge and energy, and
thirdly, a massive upsurge in the amount of investment capital being allocated to Impact Investment. (The Global Impact Investment Network estimated it at $US1.527 trillion last year, and growing.)
Together these three factors will create a paradigm shift in the way Small and Medium-sized Businesses connect with their communities and, collectively, their impact own the wider world.
Business Solutionaries are the next generation of small and medium-sized business owners. They are the generation which will transform economies from being predominantly profit-focussed to taking a broader view which incorporates social inclusion and environmental improvements embedded in the operation of their business.
Services we provide

Regenerative Businss data
Business management always relied heavily on numbers, and that reliance has increased significantly over time. That has presented a challenge to regenerative business operators and their supporters. Many of the attributes of a regenerative businesses are more qualitative than quantitative. Acknowledging the importance of measurement, particularly for regenerative business investors, a great deal of effort has been injected into framing meaningful tools.
This course provides an overview of some of the most important of these tools and the ideas behind them. Essential knowledge for collaborating with investors and other supporters.
Pitching
In the life of any business capturing its essence and communicating that simply and clearly to whatever the audience is is essential. This is doubly important for regenerative business operators as the concept is new to many people and still a contentious idea. Learning the basics of Pitching is a vital skill for recruiting the support your enterprise needs.
Negotiating
This where the rubber hits the road. This course is an introduction as to what you can expect sitting across the table working to get the deal done. Our approach isn't that you need to suck every last drop of blood out of the seller, its more about finding common ground that everyone can be happy with.
...and another thing
At Business Solutionaries we are fierce about the value of peer support. This is made real with the addition of a Masterclass for participants in any of our courses. This is an opportunity to hear from other participants about their successes and what the challenges they are facing. Experience shows these groups are powerful forces for individuals.
Meet Peter
Hi, I'm Peter Morris. At the moment Business Solutionaries is me. My hope is that very quickly many others will agree this is a special moment and choose to join in.
About me.
I have had three phases in my career: journalist, public policy consultant, and business adviser. The thread that has knitted these phases together has been the ≈ information technologies and their impact on industries and communities and alternative economic models. Basically more humane ways of working and of organising our work lives.
That has brought me to Regenerative Business at what feels like a very exciting moment. There are three massive forces combining: millions of baby boomer business owners are exiting their businesses and retiring over the next decade, eh next generation of business owners (Millennials and Gen Z) have a clear understanding of the need for business to take greater account of social inclusion and environmental stewardship in their operations, and thirdly, a massive upsurge in the amount of investment capital being allocated to Impact Investment. (The Global Impact Investment Network estimated it at $US1.527 trillion last year, and growing.)
Together these three factors create the basis for a paradigm shift in the way Small and Medium-sized Businesses connect with their communities and, collectively, their impact own the wider world.
